The children's book festival is all about bringing books to life for kids and giving them great days out in the heart of Durham. There'll be two days of fun book-themed events to encourage youngsters not only to read, but also to write, create and illustrate with inspiration for all young people from early years to teens. I'll be in the Market Place both days with copies of my books, cushions and cards and a little craft for Explorers to try!
Join me for a reading of Goodbye Explorers and a craft session at Collected Books in Durham at 11:30am. This is a wonderfully warm and inviting independent book shop which also happens to serve incredible local coffee and delicious sweet treats too! I'll be showing little explorers how to make a tiny book. Suitable for pre-school children and those up to age 7. FREE event!

The launch of my very first illustrated children's book took place in October.
In collaboration with local Illustrator Kathryn Gander, Spring into Explorers tells the story of the exciting life on a working farm as spring arrives.
The book launch was a private event hosted by Explorers Day Care Nursery.
Come and join me on the palace green in Durham City for Durham Universities Community Fun Day. The event runs from 10am - 3pm, is free and open to everyone to enjoy!
